I have always been intrigued with the early census of Kettlebaston : 1841 census is here; 1861 census ; 1871 census). My wilding ancestors figured very heavily in this very small village. I understand there are now only 30 inhabitants. My great grandfather William Wilding is aged two in this census, the son of Robert Wilding / Wilden / Carlo; again the son of Mary Wilding. Mary is daughter of William Wilding and Jane Game. etc etc. There are a great number of this family in the 1851 census of Kettlebaston. You will find a great deal of this research originated from the Cosford Database (by Ray Long); by Monique and others.
