In 1881, William is living with sisters Sarah and Jane plus a Rosina Littlechild, aged 19 is visiting them. They are living at Bowtells Farm, Waltham Holy Cross - all unmarried.
In 1901, Jane is aged 62, single and living at Long Street Copthall with her brothers James and William, and sister Mary Appleby.
