Living at 38 Burlington Avenue, Romford at her mort, aged 68; and stated as the wife of Alfred James Evans
The 1901 census shows Bessie Evans as born in Hoxton, aged 28.
In 1911, Alfred James and Bessie are living at 64 Wellbourn Road, Tottenham. They are aged 35 and 38 respectively and married for eleven years (suggestig a marriage date of 1900). They have four young children, and note that one other child had died at some stage.

Bessie married Alfred James Evans, son of James Evans and Mary A, in 1900 in Lewisham. (Alfred James Evans was born in 1876 in Camberwell.)
