In 1881, Joseph is boarder, aged 28, from Gret Tay, alongside his brother William, aged 30. They are residing at 15 Alma Place, Lyham Road, Clapham, Surrey (I am yet to prove who the William is - it does not actually state it is his briother).
In 1891, a Joseph, aged 38 and born in Marks Tey is living with his wife and young son, in Streatham at 4 Albert buildings, Mill Lane.
Joseph married Maria Jess. (Maria Jess was born about 1866 in Southwark west sq.)
