John Cole

  General Notes:

There are two John Cole born in Capel St Mary about the same time. This is the older of the two. This is confirmed from the 1861 census, where John aged 41 is living in Raydon and has been for much of his life, whereas the other John is aged 37, and still living in Capel.
By 1861, this John is living at Woodlands, Raydon.
In 1871, John amd family are living at Woodland Cottages, Raydon. He is a Farm Labourer aged 49.
Also, in 1871, there is a grand daughter Emma Cole , aged 8, living with them. I am not sure who she is the daughter, as of yet.
In 1841, he was the John aged 20 living in Raydon, whereas the other John was aged 18, living in Capel. Both were born in Capel, to different parents.
In 1891, John and Sarah are now living in Upper Street , Raydon aged 69 and 68 respectively.
He morts prior to the 1901 census, though Sarah is still alive.

John married Sarah Bird, daughter of John Bird and Elizabeth, on 21 Oct 1842 in Raydon Suffolk. (Sarah Bird was born about 1822 in Raydon Suffolk and was christened on 27 May 1822 in Raydon Suffolk.)
