In 1841, living at Hogs farm with parents, aged 10 In 1851, living at Harlow Common, aged 18 Charles and family are in Foster Street, Harlow. He is a labourer. In 1861, Charles & Susan are in Foster Street & the four eldest children. Also, they have two brothers, I presume they are Susans, called Henry & Charles Debnam. They are both in their twenties. This would mean Susan is nee Debnam. In 1871, they are living in Mill Street, St Mary Magdalene, Harlow He is shown as aged 37, an agricultural labourer. His brother William is also living with the family. In 1881, Charles is living in Mill Street, Harlow along with his family and brother William In 1901, Charles, aged 66 and family are still living in Mill Street, Harlow
Charles married Susan Debnam, daughter of Ben Debnam and Ann, Sep qtr 1854 in Epping district. (Susan Debnam was born about 1833 in Harlow and was christened in Harlow.)
