In 1851, he shows as aged 24; an agr labourer
In 1861 aged 30, with parents
In 1871, he is aged 44, unmarried and living in Foster Street with brother and mother.
In 1881, there is an unmarried Joseph, born about 1831 in Harlow. He is living in Shoe Lane, Harlow with his mother Ann (aged 75 from Harlow), his brother henry (aged 26) and his niece Emily Traget (aged 15).
I originally thought this was a different Joseph, but his mother Ann died in 1854 in North Mimms.
In 1891, he is living with his 87 year old mum, Ann. He is aged 63 and a farm labourer, in Shoe Lane, Harlow. He is single.
Also living with them is another son James Wilson, and granddaughter Emily Wilson. I think this means her grandaughter and husband, as they are both aged 25.
