The 1841 census for Downham shows Richard and Susannah, and their first two children - Alfred and Mary; plus Eleanor Mott aged 5.
He is living in Runwell with wife and children by 1843 and still there in 1861.

Richard married Susannah Mott. (Susannah Mott was born about 1816 in Ramsden Crays.)
