Sarah Bird

  General Notes:

It has taken a while to enter this information, although I knew it to be true. The IGI shows Mary Ann Cole as the daughte of John & Mary, this is now proven to be incorrect. Mary Ann is definitely the daughter of John & Sarah. Mary Ann weds into the Wilding family, in 1875. I have a copy of the Wedding certificate to prove this.

This sarah is probably the daughter of John & Elizabeth Bird, living in Raydon in 1841 - more to folow.
She is aged 48 in the 1871 census, still living in Raydon.
In 1891, John and Sarah are now living in Upper Street , Raydon aged 69 and 68 respectively.
In 1901, Sarah is a widow, aged 78.

Sarah married John Cole, son of Abraham Cole and Elizabeth Farthing, on 21 Oct 1842 in Raydon Suffolk. (John Cole was born about 1820 in Capel St Mary and died before 1901.)
