In 1871, aged 52 (14 years youger than William)

Sarah married William Cumbers, son of George Cumbers and Frances Renison, on 9 Jun 1840 in South Weald. (William Cumbers was born on 22 Nov 1807 in South Weald, christened on 20 Dec 1807 in South Weald, died Mar qtr 1882 in Billericay district and was buried on 1 Apr 1882 in South Weald.)

At their marriage, William is aged 32 and Sarah Roast is 21. William is a widower. His father is noted as George. It is in presence of Rebecca Roast, probably her sister.
