Esther is my great grandmother.
I still cannot find an actual birth / christening for Esther, certainly in Terling.
The 1861 census for Terling shows an Esther Beard, aged 16 months with brother William and parents. She is my gg mother.
In 1871, she is 11 and living with her family at Offins Cottage, in Chappel.
The 1891 census shows her birth place as Boreham, aged 29
In 1901, Esther is aged 40, living at Fowls Cottages, Whalebone Lane, Dagenham.
In 1911 living at Whalebone Cottage Whalebone Lane, aged 53, born Terling. Seven children of seven survive in 1911.
She morts in 1920, and is buried in Crow Lane cemetary.
Esther married William Littlechild, son of John Littlechild and Elizabeth Cumbers, on 22 Feb 1880 in Great Warley. (William Littlechild was born about 1856 in Kelvedon Hatch, christened on 5 Oct 1856 in Kelvedon Hatch, died on 22 Oct 1911 in Becontree Heath and was buried on 26 Oct 1911 in Crow Lane cemetary, Romford.)
